Apple’s WWDC conference happened a few days ago and a lot of new software and technologies were launched, most notably the new M2 chip. Although I’m not going to cover everything, let’s look at what’s new:
IOS 16:

I must admit, I’m excited to update to iOS 16. A complete redesign of the lock screen with more customizability (although android phones have had that for a while, let the iPhone users have this okay) and a new “depth perception” ai that can pick out objects from your images.

Tell me this doesn’t look good.
Another feature that was heavily touched upon was sharing. Now you can collaboratively listen to music, watch tv, and edit documents from just the messages app!
Now I can listen to music with my friends without having them interrupting me every two minutes because “the song sucks.”

Again, this is more of a generational upgrade in my opinion, but it does bring some cool new features.
The stage manager was one of the new features added. The stage manager helps organize your windows by sliding them to the side of your screen and keeping your main window in focus. Here’s an image of what that looks like:
To be honest there’s not much else to say about this.
Apple also added a nifty way to use your iPhone as a webcam. So now you can accidentally switch on your camera without clothes on in 4k quality (don’t ask).
Called “Continuity Camera” you can dock your phone on top of your mac and use the rear camera as a high-quality webcam instead of the (to be completely honest) garbage camera that’s packed into your mac.
Let me just say, it looks kind of dumb though. Take a look for yourself:
*Knowing Apple, it’s going to cost the better part of 5000 Rupees*
iPadOS 16:
I can’t believe my eyes. They finally made the iPad an actual laptop. Just look at this:
ITS LITERALLY JUST A MAC AAAAAAAA
Finally, I can get my iPad out of the depths of my basement and actually use it for once.
This is like the only difference between this and iOS 16 so MOVING ON

Woo! It’s finally here! Originally thought to be released last year (the year when the M1 pro max ultra XDR liquid retina epic gamer video audio whatever CPU launched), this CPU brings an incremental improvement to the original M1.
I’m not going to get into tech specs here but let me just say, CPU go brrrrrr. And now, a redesigned MacBook air can go brr as well! (And the old pro but let’s be honest, that design is outdated af)
Conclusion:
A lot of cool stuff was launched at WWDC and everything looks sick.I absolutely cannot wait to try everything out, especially the new MacBook Air (with just a *chefs kiss* mwah design).
