MADELEINE MCCANN INVESTIGATORS HAVE ‘NO SHRED OF EVIDENCE’ AGAINST LEADING SUSPECT

Date:

THE CASE

On May 3rd,2007, like usual, the adults were out, and the kids were in bed. At around 10:00 pm, Kate (Madeleine’s Mother) got up and went to check on the kids. When she reached, the door was open, and the room was filling with light. So she closed the door (not completely), but when she turned around, the door shut as if wind pushed it. She opened the door and… Madeleine’s bed was empty.

I then just went flying out down to Tapas restaurant, shouting, “Someone’s taken Madeleine!” And that’s when the nightmare started.

It was chaos when this happened. The police were informed late. And by the time police reached the scene, all the evidence was trampled.

Wherever Kate and Greg went, there were lots of cameras and mics surrounding them. Reporters from all over the world were trying to reveal the story to the world before others.

Needless to say, it was a nightmare for the family and friends of the victim.

…this is not news; this is not a story. This is their life.

~Sandra Felgueiras (a reporter)

At the start, only the local police were on duty, and they were not handling the case appropriately. Kate didn’t trust the police. The Maccanns had connections in the media, and so they asked others for help to publicize the news in the hope that their little princess was found.

No matter what you do, no matter where you look…Madeleine was nowhere to be found.

Since then, many people have reported that they might have seen Madeleine or had some news about her condition.

For example, a year ago, Hans Christian Wolters, the prosecutor leading the investigation, claimed that Madeleine might have been dead. But her parents denied this and wanted the search to continue.

On June 6th, 2021, #MadeleineMcCann was trending on the Internet. Michael Schneider claimed the girl’s body might be buried in the woods, 6 miles away from her disappearance.

UPDATES ON THE CASE

On October 9th, it was reported that sex offender Christian Brueckner, who might have been living in a camper close to Mccann’s apartment, had killed Madeleine. The investigators were reportedly 100% sure.

But earlier today, it was said that the investigators have no shred of evidence for charging Christian.

The suspect’s lawyers claim:

“Their position has always been clear: if there is evidence, show it. But the police never have.

“That’s why they are convinced these comments are a bluff designed to get the suspect to crack behind bars and confess to someone. That will never happen.

“They believes Wolters is simply a celebrity cop looking to make headlines.”

In his comments to The Mirror, Mr. Wolters conceded that investigators have “no body and no DNA” but touted “other evidence.”

But there is strong proof to conclude that Madeleine has unfortunately not survived. So the mystery remains unsolved.

The family is still very keen to find Madeleine and will not give up on the search.

“…whatever it takes for as long as it takes. But there’s still hope that we can find Madeleine.”
