THE CASE
On the morning of 1st July 2018, on the first floor of the house, there were ten bodies hanged. In the next room, the old mother was lying dead on the floor. What could have happened? Nobody had any idea. They weren’t in financial ruin, nor did they have any significant “enemies.”
Then the police found a big clue.
Diaries written by the youngest son, Lalit Bhatiya.
In the diary, Lalit Bhatiya thanked his dead father, whose spirit led the family to “success.”
In 2015 the family tried to organize a “meeting” with Lalit’s father, who had been dead for ten years.
The whole family believed that Lalit’s father (their patriarch) was sending them instructions.
Of course, these instructions included ritualistic death or, as we know, “hanging.”
Investigators believe that Lalit completely imagined all this, meaning that he was delusional.
Some reports assert his liking for spiritual and mystical literature, stating that he practiced reiki, a Japanese form of alternative medicine.
In 2018, Lalit insisted on conducting a ritual for the salvation of 5 souls, which included his father, Sajjan Singh, Heera, Dayanand, and Ganga Devi.
Finally, all of these rituals and hallucinations came to a crest on 1st July 2018, when the whole family followed Lalit and hanged themselves. The delusions of one man caused the death of 11…
