I think it is safe to say that the world is collectively going through their Andrew Garfield obsession phase after spiderman: No Way Home, and we CANNOT be happier about that.
The actor totally deserves all the praise and applause, but his fantastic cinematography is not limited to NWH.
He has done some amazing roles, and We just needed to share it with you!
So here are the 5 best Andrew Garfield Movies to Watch Other Than No Way Home.
5) SILENCE (2016)
Silence” is a passionate project by filmmaker Martin Scorsese that took him 28 years to arrive on the screen finally.
The film tells the story of two young missionaries (Garfield and Adam Driver) traveling to Japan to find their departed mentor. They faced great hardships and backlash since Christianity was banned from Japan at this time
4) THE AMAZING SPIDERMAN- 2012
In 2012, Garfield rose through the ranks of Hollywood when he was selected for the role of Peter Parker in The Amazing Spiderman.
Peter Parker (Garfield) is an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field).
Like most teenagers, Peter tries to understand who he is and how he ended up being the person he is today.
Peter also finds his path with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together they fight with love, commitment, and secrets.
As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents’ disappearance – leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors (Ifans), former partner of his dad.
As Spider-Man collides with Connors’s alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-changing choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.
Garfield appeared in two Spiderman films directed by Marc Webb, but only the first opus debuted in the actor’s top 10.
The Amazing Spiderman allowed Garfield to show some great action sequences, and it became the most profitable film of the year.
3. BOY A (2008)
Boy A marks the starring role of Garfield. In the film, he plays Eric Wilson, a young man who enters society under a new identity after spending a decade in juvenile prison, and Eric’s past is told through flashbacks.
The boy and his friend Philip end up in custody following the murder of one of their classmates.
Boy A is a tough sit, by design, but Garfield imbues the newly named Jack Burridge with so much heart that no matter how deep the despair gets, you can’t help but want to pull him out of it.
He won the BAFTA at the Best Television Actor for his performance that year, and it was a well-deserved win.
2. TICK TICK…BOOM!
Although this is one of Garfield’s most recent movies, tick, tick…BOOM! received praise from reviewers and fans. His performance as a late composer and playwright Jonathan Larson, best known for the musical RENT, was praised as one of the best of his career.
The result is Garfield’s best and most complete performance yet: he’s effortlessly charming.
He whips up controlled chaos – his theater-kid energy is off the charts – while also nailing the film’s emotional arc and catharsis.
No wonder Garfield got his best reviews for the role, which has him at the center of the conversation Oscars 2022 best actor.
You can watch the movie on Netflix!
1. HACKSAW RIDGE-2016
We see the hell on Earth that was Hacksaw Ridge. Garfield received an Oscar nomination for best actor for this film about a medical pacifist serving in World War II.
The real-life story describes how the man became the first person to win the Medal of Honor without firing a single shot. Overall, the film received 6 Oscar nominations, including one for Best Film and Best Director for Mel Gibson.
The film restored Gibson to the world of cinema from which he appeared to be banished due to many personal and legal disgraces.

THE SOCIAL NETWORK
I think it would be a total shame if we talk about Andrew Garfield movies and skip this one.
MANY epic scenes were born from this film, including the famous clip of Andrew Garfield( Eduardo Saverin) smashing Mark Zuckerberg’s (played by Jesse Eisenberg) laptop and his passionate delivery of the line
“I’m not coming back for 30 percent, I’m coming back for EVERYTHING.”
This movie is one of the best I’ve seen, with so much drama, passion, and just good directing.
It is a biographical drama portraying the funding and the now-famous lawsuits resulting from that.
And with that we have completed our list of Andrew Garfield movies you can obsess about till Amazing Spiderman 3 comes out (hopefully!)
